56 km northwest of Chania town there is a landscape, hardly believed to be true! The Balos lagoon is a highly exotic landscape, with shallow, white, intensely turquoise and blue waters, ideal for young children! The beach is mostly reached by boat from Kissamos.

Elafonisi is a narrow peninsula, 76 km southwest of Chania town, which gives the feeling of a distinct island! On many areas of the beach, you will see the sand having an incredible pink color! The landscape consists of a small lagoon with shallow and warm waters, ideal for young children, while on the other side, the beach has deeper waters and is well organized with umbrellas, sunbeds and small refreshment spots.
